Terms of Service

1. Who you are contracting with

These Terms form an agreement between you ("you", "user") and Hollywood Homes LLC ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of the GROOMR.io software service (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility and account

You must have authority to bind your business (if applicable) or be of legal age in your jurisdiction. You must provide accurate information, keep it current, and safeguard your account credentials. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. The Service

GROOMR.io is a software platform for dog-grooming businesses to manage customers, pets, bookings, photos, and communications. Features and limits depend on the plan you purchase.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
• Send spam or infringe third-party intellectual property rights.
• Probe, scan, or interfere with the security or integrity of the Service (including malware, unauthorised access, or scraping).
• Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service, or circumvent its technical limits.

5. Intellectual property

We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including software, design, branding, and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you purchased.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload (e.g. pet photos, notes). You grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to operate the Service for you.

7. Payments, billing and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment terms, billing frequency, taxes, renewals, cancellations, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Checkout / Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

8. Service level

We work to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for purpose) are disclaimed.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may cancel your subscription at any time via the customer portal or by contacting support. On termination, we will provide a reasonable opportunity to export your data before deletion.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us for third-party claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's place of business. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection law.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
